There is nothing finer in life than the companionship of a gentle old flea-bitten
grey mare. Of all the colors flea-bitten grey is my favorite, especially on an old mare.
Khiaffa is a gentle soul who loves foals so much she may steal one if she doesn't already
have one of her own. She is wonderful with all foals, and my 2003 filly Whisper adores her.
We lost grand old Khiaffa in June of 2007, but her legacy is still strong at
Angell Arabians. Khiaffa is the mother of Stella, and is the grandmother to two of my
favorite mares, and grandmother to my special gelding Kashmir.
Khiaffa lives in my heart always.
